At its March 16 meeting, the Mill Creek Lions Club presented Snohomish County Fire District 7 with a $250 check. The donation will go towards a new smoke machine for use with Fire District 7s Fire Safety House. The Fire Safety House is used at community events to help citizens practice getting out of the house safely during a fire. The smoke machine helps create a real-life scenario.

Snohomish County Fire District 7 is very thankful for the donation from the Mill Creek Lions Club, said Public Information Officer Autumn Waite. Their donation will benefit the community and we appreciate the support.

The smoke machine will also be used by Fire District 7s Training Division for the ongoing training of firefighters.

Snohomish County Fire District 7 is a state-of-the-art emergency service provider serving more than 60,000 citizens in a 50 square mile area of unincorporated Snohomish County. Fire District 7 also provides contracted service to the City of Mill Creek. Operating out of seven strategically located fire stations, Fire District 7 delivers fire and emergency medical services 24 hours a day.
